Mossflower has enjoyed a long peacetime. The forest and the crops of Redwall have been plentiful. The failed invasion of Redwall has been all but forgotten and the few vermin clans have been noticeably less active.
Unbeknownst to the Abbey-Dwellers, a fierce and bloodthirsty Warlord has been gathering a Horde on the banks of the River Moss. Driven by a lust for gold and the need for sacrifices, he's set his sights on the Abbey, like so many before him.
What will happen? That's up to you. Eulalia!
And.... Begin!

Kytrah sat on the beach, digging her toes into the sun-warmed sands. She watched as her old ship, the Redtide, disappeared into the distance of the ocean. With a rather bored sigh, she considered her desicion; she volunteered to leave the crew that used to work under her adoptave father, Ol' Cutthroat, and to go find a crew of her own, possibly assemble one. So, the stupid stupid otter decided to get dropped off here--baybe she wasn't cut out to be a corsair, as some told her in her younger years. After all, she was an otter.
She stood, stretching with her paws over her head, feeling the scar of her back resist the move. That idiot fox. Looking back behind her, she could see a sort of forest; perhaps some corsairs would stop here to load up on supplies, and she could join 'em. If they would let her. Ahh, she had the worst ideas ever.
Out of boredom, she unsheathed her cutlass, surprisingly with her left paw. She decided to practice some swordplay, shuffling back and forth, kicking up sand as she blocked and stabbed at an invisible foe in front of her. The cutlass whistled as she delivered the sweeping blow. A smirk played at the corner of her mouth. Good ol' Cutthroat; he was an excellent swordsrat, and he'd taught her well.
